  • Homeschooling begins when you have a baby. Keep your babies home!

Major research firms and universities in America, Canada, and England have arrived at the same conclusion as the new study reported in the Australian Sydney Morning Herald, that "daycare damages babies' brain chemistry and affects their social and emotional development."

It was reported, "significant among the reams of research are the so-called cortisol studies, which measured the presence of stress hormones in young babies -- consistently finding levels to be higher in children in long hours of day care." Children in daycares and preschools are not developing properly, and equally as troubling, in later public schooling.

    Homeschool IS For You

“I am sure that I’d prefer that my kids be innocent for as long as possible. I have come to cherish the innocence I still see in my 10-year-old. She may not get a lot of the jokes she hears at cheerleading practice, or know the name of every member of the latest boy-band, but right now she really loves God. I’m OK with ‘sheltering’ my kids in these formative years if it will mean that they are more prepared for ‘long obedience in the same direction.’” Aaron Chambers

Washington Times Op-ed—Children Winning 'Mommy Wars'

The unfortunate truth is that working moms often miss seeing much of their younger children's development (first steps, first words, new discoveries, etc.) Homeschooling, especially as children get older, allows moms more time to interact and get to know their children better. Many working moms are tired from their workday, and the few concentrated hours in the evenings, when energy and emotional levels are low, are not ideal times for interaction.

    Why Homeschool?

Why Homeschool? Because your children need spiritual guidance and instruction throughout the day from their parents and God.

"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up." Deuteronomy 6:6-7

"He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed." Proverbs 13:20

Why Homeschool? Because the Bible teaches that a parent is to use the Word of God, not books of secularism as the foundation to instruction.

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work". 2 Timohty 3:16-17

Why Homeschool? Because Jesus said that children should not be hindered from coming to Him.

"Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God." Matthew 10:14

"Then He (Jesus) said to the disciples, "It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones." Luke 17:1-2

Why Homeschool? Because God delights to see a family grow together in the Lord through daily commitment to learn all things from a Godly foundation under a parents care and love.
